Dr. Alexandra (Alexe) Page speaks and writes nationally on topics related to healthcare systems and delivery, high value care, and health disparities. Nationally, she claims the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Health Care Systems Committee and serves as orthopaedic delegation chair for the AMA as well as a delegate to the CMA. She chairs or serves on multiple national committees and work groups.
Regionally, Dr. Page is in the presidential line of the California Orthopaedic Association. Locally, she serves on the San Diego County Medical Society Board of Directors and provides pro bono care Project Access San Diego, both as a volunteer physician and serving on the steering committee.
Following an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from M.I.T., Dr. Page graduated cum laude from Harvard Medical School. Orthopaedic residency and Foot & Ankle Fellowship were completed at the Hospital for Special Surgery. After 16 years in full-time clinical practice with Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Page now combines private practice with consulting and health services research.
